By creating a PreDispatch account or using the platform at app.predispatch.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to any company, technician, or end customer who interacts with the Service. The Terms form a binding contract between you and PreDispatch (“we”, “us”, “our”).
PreDispatch is dispatch and payment-collection software for field service businesses (such as locksmiths). Companies use the platform to dispatch technicians, collect service-call fees in advance, capture proof of work, and process labor payments.
PreDispatch is a software platform, not a locksmith or service provider. Companies that use the platform are independent businesses solely responsible for the work they perform, the technicians they employ, the prices they charge, and any damage, injury, or loss arising from their services. PreDispatch does not provide locksmith or other field services.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your business to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering and to keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
New accounts are placed in a “pending” state until reviewed and approved by PreDispatch. Submission of an application does not create a paid subscription and does not authorize any charge to your card. You will be notified by email when your account is approved.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that accumulate excessive chargebacks, that engage in fraudulent activity, or that are inactive for an extended period.
The core principle of the platform is “Get Paid Before You Dispatch.” When a customer pays a service-call fee through PreDispatch, that fee is non-refundable once the technician has been dispatched. The fee compensates the technician and the company for the time, fuel, and opportunity cost of traveling to the customer’s location.
The only exception is a verifiable technician no-show — that is, the technician did not arrive at the customer’s address. In that narrow case, the company (or PreDispatch on the company’s behalf) may issue a full refund of the service-call fee, including the platform fee.
Disputes about quality of work, scope of work, time taken, or price quotes are not grounds for a service-call refund and must be resolved between the customer and the company directly. Labor charges are separate and may be refunded at the company’s discretion.
Free Trial. Approved companies receive a 7-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to the platform and are not charged. The trial begins on the date of approval (not the date of application). You may cancel during the trial at any time from Settings → Billing with no charge.
Subscription. Companies pay a monthly subscription fee to use the platform after the trial. (currently $75 / month) Pricing is shown in your billing settings before you start a paid subscription, and again on the Stripe Checkout page when you enter payment details.
Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew on the same day each month at the then-current price until canceled. By starting a subscription you authorize PreDispatch (through Stripe) to charge your payment method monthly. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not pro-rate. Card-on-file and billing history are managed through the Stripe Billing Portal accessible from the same screen.
Subscription refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If your card is charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days and we will review the charge in good faith.
Platform fee on customer payments. PreDispatch charges a platform fee (currently 4%) on each customer service-call payment processed through the platform. Labor and tip payments carry no platform fee.
Price changes. We may adjust the subscription price or platform fee with at least 30 days’ written notice by email. If you do not agree to the change, your only remedy is to cancel before the new price takes effect; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
All card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Companies must complete Stripe Connect onboarding to accept card payments. PreDispatch does not store full payment-card numbers; card data is handled and stored by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s terms.
You agree not to use the platform to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) commit fraud or facilitate fraudulent transactions; (c) harass, threaten, or impersonate others; (d) reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service; (e) attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, or feature gates; (f) submit malware or content designed to disrupt the platform.
Companies collect contact information from their end customers (name, phone, address) and provide it to the platform to dispatch jobs. Companies remain the controllers of their customer data and are responsible for obtaining the consents required by their jurisdiction. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREDISPATCH AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO PREDISPATCH IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
PreDispatch is not responsible for the conduct, quality, or outcomes of services performed by companies or technicians using the platform. Your sole recourse for disputes about service quality is against the company that performed the work.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate. We may terminate accounts for material violations of these Terms with or without notice.
Upon termination, you may export your data for a period of 30 days. After that, we may delete your data per our retention schedule.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and a prominent notice in the platform. Continued use after the change is published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally within 30 days of written notice will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu County, Hawaii, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits either party’s right to seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you and PreDispatch each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding.
Legal notices to PreDispatch must be sent in writing to [email protected]. We may deliver notices to you by email to the address on file or by an in-product notice; notices are deemed received on the date sent. It is your responsibility to keep your account email current.
